You will encounter dense clinical texts, drug interaction literature, and precise scientific writing, making strong reading and writing skills especially important. Visa sponsors also require proof of English, so your IELTS score must satisfy both the university admissions office and the relevant immigration authority simultaneously.
Targeting Europe: Many European universities teach Pharmacy in English (especially in the Netherlands, Ireland, and Scandinavia) and publish their own English-entry criteria; EU countries with instruction in a local language may require you to show language proficiency in that language as well as English for clinical placements.
